Race with your dog, then enjoy some dog-themed fun! Celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Rec Acres Dog Park with your four-legged friend! Our race follows a mixed-surface course through Recreation Acres in King. All participants registered by November 9th will get a T-shirt and goodie bag, and dog participants will receive a commemorative bandana. All proceeds from dog registrations benefit the Stokes County Animal Shelter.

5K Registration Fees:
- Kid's Fun Run - FREE or $15 with race t-shirt purchase.
- Youth (Age 17 and under) - $20
- Adult (Age 18+) - $30 through 11/19 and $35 on race day
Add your furry friend during 5K registration for $10 through 11/19; $15 on race day.
All 5K participants and up will receive a long sleeved race t-shirt and dogs will receive a matching bandana if registered by
November 9th!

5K Awards Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female.
After-PawtyThe after-pawty will take place on the soccer fields near the dog park from 10:30am - 1:00pm! Stick around after the race for food trucks, music, vendors, dog photography, K9 demos, crafts, and more!! If your dog still has energy after the race, they can frolic in the off-leash dog park.
Refund Policy
Race runs rain or shine! Refunds will not be given for any reason. In the case of extreme weather, the race will be postponed. Look for updates on the City of King Facebook page.
